After a five-year stint as an LA litigator, charismatic Harvard-grad attorney Alfredo Barrios, Jr. has successfully carved out a career as a multi-hypenate creative in Hollywood. He is a respected, prolific TV and film writer, producer and director and network-approved showrunner.<\/p>\n
Most recently, Alfredo served as a co-executive producer on Season 2 of CBS Network\u2019s \u201cMagnum PI\u201d and recently served as the show runner and one of the executive producers of the History Network drama, “Six,” the compelling scripted series about SEAL Team Six. Prior to that, he served as one of the executive producers on the hit USA Network show, “Burn Notice.” Alfredo has also directed several episodes of primetime television.<\/p>\n
Presently, he has several TV and film projects in development, including a western TV show with MGM and a feature (he\u2019s currently writing) about Wall Street, based on the 2020 book, \u201cDiscussion Materials,\u201d set to direct in late 2021\/early 2022.<\/p>\n
Prior to becoming a showrunner, Alfredo was was staffed on various television shows, including “First Monday,” “Mister Sterling,” “Lyon’s Den,” “Law & Order,” “Just Legal,” “Close to Home,” and “Justice.”<\/p>\n
He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Before his foray into entertainment, he worked as a litigator at the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers. He has also served as a board member of the Writers Guild of America, West.<\/p>\n
